The monthly Tuesday luncheons are organized by the Ararat Home Ladies Auxiliary. Vatche Mankerian is a pianist, composer, conductor, lecturer and teacher. As a champion of Armenian music, Mankerian regularly performs piano music by Armenian performers. He has written pieces for the piano and chamber ensembles as well as incidental music for theatrical productions and cinema. Mankerian holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. He is on the faculty at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.
