For over 20 years, the Hosharian Brothers have continued the musical tradition inspired by their late father, Ed Hosharian. Besides their vast repertoire of Armenian music, the Hosharian Brothers’ Band also performs music in other styles and languages, including Russian, Arabic, Persian, Spanish, Greek and American. The bank offers music for all occasions. In 2008, the Band released an album called “Electric Kef”, which is a new “Kef Time” sound that blends traditional and modern instruments and breathes new, retro life into some old-time classics, including Tamzara and Shalakho. The musicians who be performing at the Luncheon will include: Greg Hosharian, Peter Hosharian, Greg Miller, Gevorg Rostomyan and Ayline Amirayan (who provided wonderful entertainment at December’s Monthly Luncheon).
