Entertainment will be provided by Elise Tashjian, a highly admired singer who will present a bouquet of Armenian songs. She is a voice teacher and active in the community; she serves on the Board of Directors of USC Friends of Armenian Music, the Ladies Auxiliary of AGBU and as the director of the St. Gregory Armenian Church choir in Pasadena. She has performed internationally and received several awards and distinctions, including the St. Nerses Shnorhali Medal and Encyclical from His Holiness Karekin II. Mrs. Tashjian will be accompanied by pianist Levon Abrahamyan, who is a highly demanded accompanist by local artists. Mr. Abrahamyan is the musical director of the Armenian International Music School and serves as the organist at St. Garabed Armenian Church in Hollywood.
