The much-anticipated COVID-19 vaccines reached all three Ararat Home facilities, and administration of first doses to residents and staff began in mid-January. Now, with first doses complete, second doses are being administered on a rolling basis and will conclude at the end of February.

The vaccination process at each facility has been going smoothly. And, we are happy that the Home has been able to extend unused doses to family members of residents and staff as well as to our volunteers and some community members.

While all preventive measures are still in place at our facilities and on our campus, we are looking forward to resuming certain group activities and visitations for our residents that will offer a partial return to normalcy of daily life at Ararat Home.
