The drawing for Ararat Home’s Annual Raffle fundraiser was held virtually on Wednesday, September 30th, at 2:30 p.m. [Watch the video.]

For the past 68 years, Ararat Home has been hosting wonderful picnics on the last Sundays of every September; a tradition that usually brings so many members of our community together for a day filled with family fun, music, dancing, and delicious food and pastries. For the last 27 of those years, we have continued this tradition in the beautiful outdoor setting of our Mission Hills campus. Our annual picnics have always been a day to remember, especially for our residents and their families.
This year, however, things have been very different. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to cancel our picnic along with all other gatherings, and we have closed our campus to visitors. But, in the spirit of keeping the annual tradition going, we continued our mail-in raffle fundraiser. And, the response we received from our extended Ararat Home family and community was remarkable. We are truly thankful!
The drawing was held with the participation of Derik Ghookasian (Chief Operating Officer), Ani Dikranian (Executive Secretary), Camelia Boyadjian (ALF Social Worker Coordinator, Donation Manager), Rita Noravian (Assisted Living Facility Administrator), and Margarita Kechichian (Nursing Facility Executive Director).
